Talking To The Man In The Moon

(Buddy Lewis)
2008-01-24
O'Jaye Armstrong
I remember when talking - was what we did well
When our problems and worries - fit into our nutshell
Now there’s frost in the air - when I walk in the room
And I feel like I’m talking - to the man in the moon

Deaf ears don‘t suit you - but you wear them with pride
And I’ve begged and I’ve pleaded - but you won’t hear my side
We can’t go on together - with the tears and the gloom
And I just can’t keep talking - to the man in the moon

All the things that I’m saying - seems to fall on deaf ears
And the truth doesn’t matter - if I can’t make you hear
All the signs seem to tell me - the end’s coming soon
Cause it’s just like I’m talking - to the man in the moon

I remember when talking was what we did well
When our problems and worries fit into our nutshell
Now there’s frost in the air when I walk in the room
And I feel like I’m talking to the man in the moon
